Is Amazon Wireless a scam?
I am looking for a new phone since I have an upgrade, but AT&T is a HUGE ripoff. All of their phones that are cheap are really crappy, and I came across Amazon Wireless. It seems to good to be true- awesome phones for only 1 cent, so if anyone has gotten a phone from their let me know how it worked out!
It's completely legit, however most of the deals require a new service agreement and not a renewal. The best think would be to sign up for new service on Amazon and port your current number over, then cancel your old line.

Buying the Verizon Wireless Voyager off Amazon?
I was wondering, if I decide to buy the Verizon Wireless Voygaer off of Amazon, and change my plan, could I still upgrade my phone? Or do I have to buy it off of the Verizon website in order to upgrade my phone? I currently have the Chocolate and I want the voyager.
You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you purchase the phone, then you can either take it to the Verizon store or go online and activate the phone yourself.....I think that Verizon will charge you $20 to do it in the store, but if the primary accountholder regisiters the account online at verizonwireless, then they can do it themselves for free under the my phone>activate phone option.

As my cousin is now staying in the US and will be back in a few days, he can get one of these, there. Will the unlocked versions work all around the globe? I live in the UK.
