barnes and noble ereader?

i have the ereader and i want to get a free ebook from barnes and noble .com without using a credit card does anyone know how to do that

Well I just downloaded the eReader onto my touch and when I signed into my BN account, it gave me Dracula, Little Woman, Webster Dictionary and Pride and Prejudice for free. Hope that kinda helped.

Barnes and Noble eReader Nook?

Hello,
I apologize in advance if the answer to this is extremely obvious but I'm not familiar with ereaders and I cannot find this answer online elsewhere. I plan to purchase the B&N Nook ereader for my boyfriend, but what I'm wondering is will the ereader allow users to upload previously owned ebooks to it? My boyfriend travels a lot and therefore has a large collection of ebooks on his laptop and I want to make sure that he'll be able to put these books on the Nook from his laptop before I drop the $260 on it. Is there a USB cord that will transfer for the books or any way to do this?

As long as it's in a supported format (.epub, .pdf, etc.) and there are no licensing restrictions from the places where you downloaded the ebooks, you will be able to transfer them to the Nook.

This is because the Nook allows you to view and download ebooks from other sources. Also, if you already have an account with B&N, and you have ebooks from them, that will make the process much more simple. You could transfer your entire library. Either way, you shouldn't have a problem.
