Battery Fits
If a new battery of a different type fits into my laptop perfectly, is it safe to use?
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000, and my original battery is "Type D5318" but it died. Can I just use "Type U4873" if it fits into the battery port?
The U4873 has a 6600 MAh rating. The D5318 has a 4800 MAh rating. Voltages are the same. Should work fine. See links below. Hope this helps...
