My Sony E book reader has frozen nothing will move has anyone else had this problem how do I get out of this?

I am charging the unit even though it is 3/4 full red light has come on so will wait to see if problem solved will let you know thanks

Apparently this situation has happened to others with the Sony eReader ...

You may need to charge your unit overnight in order to straighten it out.
