I guess no ebook reader can handle DjVu or inf files, but you can always convert them to PDF so they are readable on the readers. They can support PDF and JPEGs though.

Let me pick out the best readers so far in the market. The best one I recommend is Kindle DX. It can hold over 3500 books and you can read with it for days without recharging. Read this review for more about the DX:

The second one to recommend is Kindle 2. It needs PDF conversion to be able to read PDF, but it is still great. I own a Kindle 2 and I love it. It can hold over 1500 books and again you can read for days without recharging. Read this review to know more about the PDF handling:

The third choice is Sony Reader. It can handle PDF well too, but it has much less function compared to the Kindle. However, it will be the only choice if you are outside the United States (because Amazon doesn't sell their Kindle outside the U.S. right now). It can take up to 8GB external SD card. Is there any way to open a Word or PDF file on a cell phone? I want to use my phone for a e-book reader.?

I have a Sony Ericcson w300i and I would like to be able to use it as an e-book reader if possibe. I would even be open to buying software if it's available but would prefer free. Thanks!

Typically PDA style cellular phones are capable of this feature, and typically requires the purchase of a 3rd party application. Your phone will likely not support this feature as it is basically a straight cellular phone, and not a PDA style phone like a Treo or BlackBerry.

My BlackBerry's will support this feature with the purchase of a 3rd Party app.
