I know some device (cell phone, mp3 player, etc) can be charged by car adapter or pc usb adapter. Is there any difference using those chargers other than direct charge from a charger? How does it work exactly?
The USB specification/standard specifies how the bus can be used to provide power to a device. There are strict requirements on the max. power a device can draw from the USB port.
If a device needs more power, it needs to use a power adaptor.

Does ipod have a car adapter that doesn't require a tape player?
I know ipod has a car adapter that allows you to listen to music in the car, but you need a tape player. Problem is my car doesn't have a tape player so does anyone know if there are car adapters for ipod that doesn't require a tape player?
Im pretty sure there is im just not sure where you can get it id check like best buy and walmart etc. i know itll probably be at best buy
