I bought this auto kit but lost the instructions! How do I get it to work?

I heard that I'm supposed to set it to a certain station so I can get it to play, does anyone know if this is true?

If this is true, What's the station?

If not, How do I get it to work?

All I can do right now is charge it... any help would be appreciated!

my verizon phone says car kit.?

Last night i went to take a shower and my phone was plugged into the charger. I came back and my phone said car kit on the front. I have played with it trying to get it off and it wont work. I can text but i cant call any one and when i answer they cant hear me. my phone was not wet. I have taken the battery out and it does not work. Please help!!!!
