car power...............
when thay assemble a car how to they test the power by the crank or the wheels??
When a manufacture gives out the HP rating, I'm pretty sure they are measuring it from the crank. This is why HP is usually listed in the Engine part of the specifications.

Is there a way to fix my car power adaptor/cigarette lighter outlet?
I bought an ipod transmitter for my car. When I plugged it in it didn' turn on like it should have. When I tried it in another car it turned on right away and worked fine, so I'm assuming the power adaptor(is that what it's called?) is broken. Is it easily fixable? Thanks!
Buy another at walmart or auto parts store . they are cheap, Might have no power go to the one you have now. Blown fuse . Check fuses, or run hot wire from fusebox to back of outlet to rewire. Most auto parts stores will assist you if you ask. That's a simple fix.
