Clip White Led How Do You Refill Paper Mate Mega Lead Pencils?
I just bought these Mega Lead pencils today, and love them. They are refillable (I can tell because the package says "fits up to 20 leads"), but I can't figure out how to refill them. PLEASE DO NOT SAY "JUST PUT THE LEAD INTO THE TOP OF THE PENCIL"!!! I know this much. I just cannot figure out how to remove the white clip that holds the eraser in place. Is this the way to refill them, or is there some other way to refill this pencil? Please help! Thanks to all who answer, and I will give 10 points to the first person who has the correct answer. Much love and sunshine to you all!
There are two ways to refill the pencil with lead. One way is to refill it by removing the eraser on the top of the pencil. This way can easily be done only if the eraser is not used up. If it is, then the other way is much easier. This way is by the bottom of the pencil, where the lead come out. Hold down the eraser/the top put of pencil side way and with the lead - you put it up on the bottom of the pencil.
This way always work for me.

I have a small 0.25 amp 12 volt dc power supply fan salvaged from an old computer. I want to wire it up to a "117ac>12dc" converter. There are four wires emerging from the fan itself: two black, one white and one red. One red and one black lead to a little white jack (I don't know what they call these connectors) which seems to be for controlling fan speed or whatever. The longer, bare leads (no clip/connector) are white and black and must be the mains. How can I wire it to a 12 volt converter (household current to DC)? Do I need to connect both black wires? What do I do? I just want to use it as an uncontrolled fan.
Thanks
Most likely the red and black leads are the power to fan
Red is always + positive and black is always - negative.
Connect those two wires to a nine volt battery for an instant and you will see the fan turn
The other two wires may be foe some sort of thermad connection, maybe.
This fan may have been the type that only turned on when too much heat was present. I was going to say if fan doesn't run on that battery touch the black and white together and see if that is needed to make fan run. I am not sure about those two wires. Will check something and let you know.
