can anyone link me a to a cool ebook reader , handheld and portable?

also ima resident of chennai , would love it ..if its available here
i have a lot of ebooks in my pc , an i want read them ...dad hates me sitting in pc allday and also he doesnt like mobiles.....can anyone suggest me any of ebook readers which is nota pc and a mobile

The best two cool portable ebook readers are the Kindle and the Sony Reader. The Kindle aren't available outside the United States, however, as you can see in the question "Is Kindle available to customers outside the United States?" here:
