Where is the best place to download FREE ebooks?

I got a "cool-er" personal book reader for Christmas, but I dont wanna spend tons of money on books. I wanna find a place where people can share ebooks or download good books for free. Know of any? I want books like Harry Potter, Twilight, Wicked... ECT. Please and Thank you!

The Harry Potter books haven't been legally released as ebooks because Rowling thinks paper is better. And the Twilight books & Wicked aren't free; some libraries may have ebook forms of them, but there aren't any online ebook sharing sites for recent popular novels.
