i think that's the name where you can read books and such, well, i was wondering if you can engrave a logo on the back of it or the cover put a logo on it. help me! my fiances b-day is coming up and he has a wolf logo for his books he's trying to publish, so i was going by that.

I think it may not be good to engrave on the electronic device itself. But normally people buy with the leather cover, you may find place to engrave something on the cover:

But when will be the birthday of your fiance? If it is a few months later it will be fine as the Kindle DX is coming out in the summer and you can pre-order it now. If it is coming very soon then I'll suggest you to go for the Kindle 2 which is hot selling right now. There's loads of information on the Amazon web site including a photo comparison of the two generations with the dimensions of each. Kindle 3 is 21% smaller than Kindle 2. You should have cancelled that cover before it shipped because it's not going to work.
