My Binatone Read Daily ereader can use up to a 16gb micro sd card, however can only find sdhc cards ...?

Which tell you on most websites may not be compatible & to check before purchase. Does anyone know if a 16gb sdhc micro card is compatible - or do I need to find just an sd card? Thanks in advance for any help

The SDHC one may not work -

Try www.play.com for a high capacity SD card - they are usually the cheapest and their own brand ones are cheaper still - and fine by the way - I use them

Reading Kindle

Reading Kindle Customer Reviews...

By T. Young "Know it all"

An Apple-Like Product From Amazon!

The first generation of Reading Kindle didn't interest me much. It was odd looking and bulky. I have had a Sony PRS500 for a couple of years now and there really was no reason to trade it in. Until now. Amazon has done to the eReader what Apple did to the laptop. They made it look beautiful as well as incredibly functional.

Being a Mac guy the Sony Reader frustrated me each and every time I plugged it in and nothing happened. I had to reboot in Windows and only then would the reader be recognized. I literally had two operating systems JUST so I could download new books to my reader. With the Reading Kindle 2 this is not an issue.

Before I even received my Reading Kindle I bought a Kindle book from Amazon and when my Reading Kindle arrived the book was immediately downloaded within seconds. In fact, I didn't even see it download. It was just there when I turned the Reading Kindle on for the first time... like magic.

The Reading Kindle 2 is very easy to hold and I actually prefer it to paper books because there is no bend in the body. When I read a paper book I have to either read with two hands, or bend one half around the back and hold it with one hand which ruins the binding.

A cool feature is the author photo which comes up each time you turn the Reading Kindle off. A new author each time greets you when you go to turn it back on again. Another great feature is the built in dictionary. You have to look up your misunderstood words in order to get full understanding and with this product it's easy. Just scroll over the word and the definition is displayed. Awesome!

Very well done Amazon for creating such a brilliant product. It is a joy to look at and use.

Got it early!

By: Sandy

Thanks to Amazon for shipping my Reading Kindle 2 early! Everyone's doing a great job here talking about the improved features. I'm going to comment on how using the Reading Kindle 2 feels. Amazon has done an amazing job of stripping away the technical annoyances with using electronic gadgets. When you look at it, if you don't focus too hard, the little buttons and controls fade away and all you see is the text. You get such a sense of quiet and comfort from that.

No screaming banner ads, no strobing backlit display and no sound! It's really remarkable... both retro and high tech together! It feels very solid in your hand and does not feel flimsy, cheap or insubstantial. It's like a rigid wafer that's heavy enough, but would never be tiresome to hold a while.

The screen is lovely, with little glare. The fact that when you turn it off, it stays on takes getting used to. I absolutely love the graphics that come up when you turn it off and wonder if there's a way to change them out with my own photos?

So what the Reading Kindle 2 is - it's a quiet unintrusive device that calls you to. It's not a further distraction in your already distracting world, but it's a calm oasis in your hand. Hmm. Sounds like what a book would be. But this does so much more.

The experimental web feature is very rough in terms of the elegant simplicity of the rest of the Reading Kindle 2 features. Don't buy this for web surfing!

In summary, if you like books, you'll love Reading Kindle 2. The technology is seamless and you won't feel like you need technical expertise to use it. It feels like an extension of your hand very quickly. It doesn't flash, scream, strobe, move, etc.... but it does what it does to extremely well. It's quiet in your hand and a pleasure to use. People around you are drawn to it. When using it, you can't help but wish that more of the products you use in your daily life were like this. It is the future. Thanks Amazon!
