what is the best ereader under $200?
i need help from you gadget gurus, who ever has the best non-smart aleck reply, gets all the points.
i have a macbook, but it seems that there are no really good ereaders available for the macbook.
so, i want to have a dedicated ereader, under $200, with the following specs:
color touch screen
sd slot
open drm and drm (ability to use library books)
good battery life
the ability to make notations in books (this is very important)
playing music on the ereader is not at all important to me, i would prefer not to have the option, honestly, but having access to a bookstore like barnes and noble would be awesome.
you guys have all given me some GREAT answers, and i am still undecided.
so, reading and researching more, i've decided that i don't need a color screen, but i do really want it! 
so, i am thinking about getting the nookCOLOR. does anyone have any experience with one? also, can you make the background dark and the words light?
Consider the Velocity Micro Cruz R101 and the PocketBook IQ 701.
The both have color touch screens, SD expansion slots, and EPUB support (library lending).
The battery life is just not going to be as great for color LCD screens as it would be for E Ink displays.
Annotation support: Perhaps another answer can help in this area. Otherwise, you're going to have to ask the manufacturers or users of these devices directly for that information as it's not readily available on the ereaders' web sites. I'd be interested to learn what you find in this area.
