whats the differents between a book and a ebook?

well i bought a ebook online- which is a good story. but it only had 169 pages and what i seen in amazon.com it said the paperback book is 224 pages? did i miss some of the story? or does it have more then 12 chapters? whats the differents between a book and a ebook? help me???

No, its exactly the same, but formatted different, because you're reading it on a screen and not on paper.

with ebook, will the printed book become a luxurious object of collection?

in other words, will the ebook make the printed book obsolete? i really need your help people, im participating in an elocution contest and want to get as much relevant information as possible

I don't think print books will become a luxurious object of collection, at least not for a long time to come. There are still quite a number of misconceptions and issues pertaining to books in electronic formats. One issue is the fact that ebooks come in multiple formats. Some readers feel overwhelmed by the choices. Then comes the issue of if the software used to read a specific format will become obsolete and hence, you will not be able to read your books in the obsolete format in the future. Add to that the fact that ebook readers (not computers) tend to be a bit on the expensive side (usually over $175). Anyway, though I don't think of it as an impossibility, it will be a long time before ebooks take over the publishing industry.
