I like to download pdf ebook online from torrents etc.. - only because I cannot find these books anywhere, as they are translations. So I wanted to buy the kindle - but it doesn't include pdf (i don't want kindle 2, the screen is hard to see), so i was thinking about the sony reader 505. What are your recommendations.

I'd like to purchase ebook reader. But I don't know exactly which one supports pdf files as I collected 100s of books from internet. If anyone knows the best please provide information.
If you are in the United States, the best one to get is definitely the Kindle DX. It has native PDF support and no longer need any conversion like in the Kindle 2. It also has free wireless internet access with good coverage in the United States. Here is a very good review talking about it:
If you are outside the United States, the Kindle cannot be an option (Amazon doesn't allow order outside the U.S.). The Sony Reader is the best alternative then. I suggest to go for the latest model - Sony PRS-700BC. Read this review and you should be able to decide:

However, some of the icons on the Eee Note take space… so you get less screen space. PDFs are designed for a variety of formats and mostly to fill the size of pages in paper.
I will do a video to demonstrate this. I might take a bit of time on it because it's not a small topic to cover on the Eee Note.
