i hav to buy an electronic gaget 4 my B'day... but not laptop or psp or ipod... or mp3 player.......?
waht about an ebook reader... which one.... shud not bee too costly.... shud diasply colur images ,,,, which izz th ebest one,,,,???
Very few dedicated ebook readers have color displays, and they're all horribly expensive. There's a few color ebook readers being developed, but they're all very new, and limited markets.
However, many PDAs and phones work as ebook readers, so you could look for those--a Palm Treo or iTouch would work well for ebooks.
EBook readers aren't worth getting unless you love reading books enough to want an expensive, fragile piece of technology for it. I love mine--but I read ebooks on my Sony Clie for over two years before I bought an ebook-only reader.
