Ebook Reader Nook Vs Kindle

Why is everybody ignoring the fact that the some of the cheapest netbooks can function better than the iPad?
Wouldnt it have been simpler to just pitch it against an ebook reader like kindle or nook, both of which the iPad will DEFINITELY outperform, instead choosing to compete it with netbooks and becoming the laughing stock of most the tech community (with the exception of the MacBoys Ofcourse), thus leading to comparisons like this?

Not actually related to the question, but I've just done a comparison of the iPad with the Amazon Kindle as well, guess you'll be interested:

The Nook is not for export to anywhere outside the United States, so you cannot get it. For the Amazon Kindle, even in U.S. you can only buy it from internet, because Amazon is a website-only store, it doesn't have any shop… So the only choice is to get the Amazon Kindle from Amazon's website, if you're in india. I think the Amazon Kindle is the best ebook reader right now, however.
There are some very good reviews on the Nook and comparison with the Kindle 2 here, guess you'll be interested:
