are there any good ebook readers availabale in the indian market?

i wud luv an ebook reader which is cheap and allows me transfer boks from my pc to the device thats it i wud like it to be simple n easy ........... help

   I've had three different Clies and I used them as ebook readers and LOVED them. (But that's WinXP, not Vista.)

   Other PDAs work as ebook readers. Windows Pocket PCs will read .lit ebooks, and might have apps that will read Mobipocket (.mobi or .prc) files. I think they'll also work with eReader docs (.pdb) with the eReader software.

   Most PDAs will read ebooks; you just usually need a different program for each type of ebook.
