Absolutely not. This would cause economic madness. Just think of all the people who make rubber bands and coffee tables. They would all be unemployed overnight. What about manufacturers of bookends, bookmarks and bookshelves? What would we use to pack dishes when we move? How would we line the bottom of the birdcage? What could we buy for a nickel at garage sales? How would you train dogs? How would I decorate my study? Good God man think before you speak!
