   No, these products are for lazy and selfish parents who do not want to spend time reading and working with their children to teach them to read.
   Don't get me wrong, these toys are a good tool for parents to use WITH their child. MY son has one. We sit and do the activities together sometimes, but this is on top of the 20 minutes of reading we do together each day.
   We also practice counting and colors with his hundreds of matchbox cars.
