Where can i buy best E book reader in Mumbai?

I need to buy a e book reader with all the facilities.! I mean the places in mumbai where i can found electronic equipments.?thanks in advance.

The two best ebook readers available in India is Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader. Among the two, I'll say the Amazon Kindle.

I love my Kindle 2 very much. The Amazon Kindle is better Sony E Reader because it has free wireless and text-to-speech function. There are more ebooks you can find available for the Kindle, and books on the Kindle are quite a lot cheaper too. There are some good comparison between them here:

And in case you don't know, Amazon has recently put a price slash on the Kindle 2, and it adds in international wireless access (and it has free 3G wireless in India, you can check it at its homepage) and native PDF support... So take the chance if you want it.

You can only get the Kindle from Amazon's website, even if you're in the United States. They provide reasonable international shipping cost as well. Hope it helps

I wish to purchase an electronic reader. My question is: can i add my paperback books to an ereader.?

electronic reader is called an ereader ie (kindle). I have many books and like to read alot. An ereader was suggested to me.

Unfortunately, you cannot put the books you originally own onto the Kindle. Paperback books and Kindle books are sold separately.

The good thing is that Kindle books are much cheaper than actual books. Since you will buy more and more books in the future, it saves both money and space to buy books in Kindle version. I've bought over 30 books and I think the money it saved me on buying books already cover half of the price of the Kindle.

And it is good for you that Amazon just announced a price slash on the Kindle 2, and it is $60 cheaper than the price I bought mine. So take the chance.
