Im supposed to right about what kidns of transactions you can make on the HMV website..so far I have this...
By making a transaction you are swapping your money for a product. You can make transactions with cash or electronically by using a credit or debit card. Allowing customers to use a credit or debit card to pay for their products is called EPOS. This stands for the Electronic Point Of Sale.
At HMV you can make transactions to buy things such as CD’s, DVD’s, books, posters, and games etc.

This is a company that deals with electronic products, what I would like to know is how have they managed to send a sales letter from my inbox to everyone in my address book. I have never heard of this company or had any dealings with them
You most likely signed in to a "phishing" website recently, which is a spoof website that mimics a legitimate website (such as hotmail.com). When you type in your username and password, it sends that information to these criminals and then they use your account to advertise. Now everyone in your address book is at risk of falling for the same thing you did. That's how it spreads.

Really not sure exactly what you are asking here, but my guess is just a Monthly Membership.
It's not a sales tactic. It's the way the company chose to create the memberships. In many cases, it is how they can offer the best possible prices to those that choose to become a monthly member.
