Ereader Asus

I bought a horrible ebook. What now?
I'm rather new at the whole ebook thing but I decided to jump in. I looked around and I found one I've curious about. After I purchased it, it seemed like a good book, but further down by at least 40 pages or so...it was just trashy. The reviews never mentioned it would turn out trashy. I really regret buying it now. It wasn't expensive but I hate wasting money. I guess I'm stuck with it?
Is there a better way to try ebooks? I've tried using my library's ebook rentals but my ereader isn't compatable with Abobe Digital Editions. I doubt my library will carry gay literature anyway.
My reader is Asus Eee Note ea-800. Is there another way to try to rent ebooks (besides going to the library...don't worry I still use them)? Going to the library is a bit of a hastle for me anyway since I cannot drive myself.
I guess I'm stuck with what I got, right? Is there a site where I can read more into the book I'm considering?
Looks like curiosity killed the cat.
Before purchasing see what kinds of things are said, about the book via Amazon, B&N.com, and other book-sellers. Just check out the reviews on the regular books. In regards to your question, yeah, you're just stuck with a trashy book now, and you can't even use it to level out your coffee table. Stinks, I know. I've done it a couple of times myself.
Loaded: Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
