there are many "free" book websites, but im looking for more contemporary book titles.

eBook travel guide books, where can i get them?

Going travelling to South America soon and dont want to carry 5 thick travel guide books with me. Anyone know if i can get travel guide books in eBook form? Dont care what format, might just buy the reader that supports the format thats most abundant. eReader, iPod, smartphone, etc. Dont even know whats out there since never looked into eBooks before.

It's $24 and has information on all the countries there.

I read that frommer's is for older people and lonely planet is for younger ones, so maybe you should check out your favourite version before purchasing it, then just google ebooks and you'll get tons of results.

I know that a palm pilot supports ebooks, but I'm not sure if an ipod does, it would definately be compact if it did.

I have only read lonely planet paper books, but I like your idea for saving space, especially if you're going on a longer trip, I will give ebooks a try on my next trip. Thanx

Perhaps you used a different credit card number, Or perhaps when you registers at the B&N or eReader bookstore you used a different spelling of your name (i.e. included a middle initial, or used an initial in place of the full name).It sounds like your setting of the information is correct for DeDRMFirstname Lastname:12345678But if you used a middle initial or somehow typed your name differently when you opened your account, B&N/eReader bookstore may have used that version instead?To verify, load this exact same ebook in the B&N Reader software for Mac (or eReader software for Mac) (free download) and see if the version of your name and your credit card info will open this exact same copy of the book in the official software. If not, then the plugin will never work without the right info. If so, then might be a bug someplace we have to track down.Please let us know what you find.If
