Ereader Conversion

Is there a text-to-speech program that would work for Kindle for PC or eReader?

I have Kindle for PC & eReader software on my laptop, but sometimes I wish I could record the actual books (these are books that don't already have audio versions) and take them with me on my MP3 player. Are there any that don't require me to copy & paste (which Kindle for PC will not allow me to do) into a box to do the conversion?
Buying an actual Kindle isn't really feasible right now as I'm a student and can't afford it.

So I suggest you to consider getting a Kindle device. I love mine very much indeed. I remember I read these reviews about the benefits of the Kindle when I decided to buy it:
