Sony Reader or Kindle?


I have absolutely no more storage space for books so I am considering purchasing an eReader.
I cant decide between Sony's Reader and Amazon's Kindle.
Can you save your books on either of them i.e. what if something happens to the device. Do you have repurchase all the books?
Which one has a better selection of books, particularly new ones and bestsellers?
Are both wireless capable?

Also I am in Canada so Im not sure if that would make a difference.
Any suggestions are helpful.

I've the Kindle 2 and I'll choose it over Sony Reader. I suggest the Kindle because it has free wireless and text-to-speech function. There are more and cheaper ebooks you can find available for the Kindle too. And the Sony Reader doesn't have wireless, the Kindle has.
