Ereader Lit Files

Kindle 3G or Nook Color? (or any new ereader coming out before September?)?

I like the Kindle because it's an e-ink device, fast, 3g, cheaper, light weight, and a one month battery.
The Nook Color because it has a color system (although the LCD might be a problem), removable battery, can change SD cards, appealing to the eye, touch screen.
Can you also tell me the warranty on the kindle because I just couldn't seem to find it.
I want to be able to use this to read pdf files, easy textbooks(for myself) and because I'm a heavy reader 14 years old. I'm afraid that the Nook might distract me, btw I do not intend on rooting it. Does the LCD screen cause eye strain or glare when reading outside? I mostly read inside in a dimly lit room. Thx.

If magazines and other color materials are important to you, go with the NOOK Color.
If most of your reading will be text-based books where color is no advantage, go with the Kindle 3G.

Dimly lit reading room favors LCD-based ereaders, but you can always get a book cover with a built-in light for night reading. Outside reading: No question, go with the Kindle with its E Ink display; LCD screens are very hard to read outside.

Concern about being distracted: Stay away from NOOK Color with its superior web browsing ability (relative to Kindle).

SD cards matter very little, especially with wireless.
