Is it worth it to buy an eReader?

An eReader sounds like a great convenience as I can carry many books with me at a time... Easier to jump around in book... Can start to substitute eBooks for school textbooks. And now magazines...

Are there enough books to make this move worth while? it looks like Borders is coming out is an afforable Kindle (killer).

Any advice on what to get and where to get books? Are there enough popular publishers pushing their print books into "e" format?

I'd really like to interface with my PC, be upgradable memory wize, text resizable..

Yes. Many big textbook publishers has signed up for ebook publish with large ebook sites like Amazon.

There is a review on the Kindle here from a student, and also some other good review. You'll get pretty much idea about it:

So I think the Kindle should match what you need, just it doesn't have upgradable memory. But there is already built-in 2GB memory for Kindle 2 and 4GB memory for Kindle DX, and I think it should be pretty enough.

Guess it'll help you decide.
