are there sites for free "sony reader" book down loads?

my husband got me the sony reader... i like it, but its not something i wouldve gone out and bought. so im trying to find books at the ebook store, theyre so limited! i get annyoed when i cant find the book i want. i dont wanna return it, because he might get mad!
plus, since i dont have to wait for my books to be shipped to me, i been spending more money on books! getting them for free might help me keep it...:)

Check to see if the author is giving away free downloads. Most don't.

However Harlequin is offering some free downloads for their 60th anniversary.
