Would you use eBay or a consignment shop for girls' clothing?

Several years ago I sold items on eBay, including my daughter's gently worn clothing, and made a lot of "fun money." I've also sold some of her things to consignment shops in the past -- so I'm familiar with both processes, but it's a been a while.
