How do I add a shower to the tub in a RENTED HOME ??
I rent the home so I can't tear apart the wall, This needs to go completely on the outside. I have looked at hardware stores for an adapter of some sort. Everything seems to require rebuilding the wall or an entire drop-in shower/tub combo. It would be great if this could be a temporary fix that could be "undone" without too much trouble when I move out.
There are kits that you can add to an existing tub only. I just added one in my house and it took about 15 minutes. Here's a site that has them. Check around you can probably find them cheaper. (I installed the model number 4185 and it works fine.)
