Are there any stories or references to Achilles in modern Literature?

not from the Iliad.... modern literature meaning, around 1000 A.D. and up..

Flip through Sports Illustrated, you will find a reference. Off the top of my head, any medical journal might have a reference to an Achilles tendon. Disney's Lady and the Tramp.
