Confound this infernal technological contraption?
I know e-books and e-readers have existed for a long time, but the final straw was torn today by the ambitious statement from the "iliad reader" company irex that it would "change the way we read forever". HOW DARE THEY! If you want to read a book you can damn well pick one up, open the cover and do what comes naturally. I know its complicated but do try and keep up.
Personally I cannot think of anything worse than trying to read a good book on a computer screen. What would happen to reading in bed or curling up with a good book and a hot toddy. What about reading in the bath - we would all electrocute ourselves!
No, I love my computer and I love my books; but not books on the computer.
