Ipod Itouch Ereader
If i restore my itouch will my books on ereader disappear?
I jail broke it once and used an app called "poof" to hide apps i didn't want to see, like things i didn't use, and when i restored it it was like half of the jailbreak stayed. like i customized the top of the screen to say SITNG (stop is the new go-band) instead of ipod or whatever it used to say, and my maps and photo app are both still invisible, so i'm restoring it but idk if my books will be gone, sorry for the long explanation.
what if i back it up? will my contacts and stuff still be deleted?
when you restore, you are putting the non jailbroken firmware back in. Some parts are edited and saved in the backup (like the carrier name up in the left)
yes, when you do a full restore with no backup then all will be gone. You will have to set everything back up (email, settings, etc) and will need to re-sync apps, music, etc back in....
