   I've been waiting for a product like this to come out for some time. I love to highlight and write my own notes as I go along through books for later review. I loved the Irex Iliad when I read about it, but it was far too expensive and even a bit big for my tastes. I bought this product when it first came out (and paid the full $300),and I've been very happy with it ever since.

   It allows me to go through and highlight my favorite points throughout the book as I read.I can later go back and see a full list of everything that I highlighted for review. the touchscreen also makes it very simple to search for content with the on-screen keyboard.

   I don't personally like the software that the reader comes with very well. I use a program called Calibre that makes managing my books incredibly easy. I also love how easy it is to take blogs and open-source content, to convert them into e-books, and to drop them onto your reader.

   this open-source capacity coupled with the touchscreen feature where the chief selling points for me on the Sony touch.
