How do you send documents to your kindle 2 to read on it?

Never mind!
I can't figure out how to email or download the documents I have on my computer to my kindle 2. Please help?

First, they have to be in a format that the Kindle can read. The easiest way to do that is to save them in a text only format. When you save, select "save as" - then choose a .txt format. You can then connect the kindle to your computer with the USB cable, navigate to the device's "documents" folder, then drag and drop the files onto the Kindle. When you unplug it, they will show up on your home screen.

If your documents are in a .pdf format, Amazon will convert them for you. You can email them as an attachment to YourKindleName@kindle.com for wireless delivery to your Kindle (at a 10 cent charge per conversion), or to YourKindleName@free.kindle.com where the converted document will be emailed back to you. Then just drag and drop as described above.
