I just got a dent on my brand new kindle 2?

Caused by the Mighty Bright Freakin Light. It's not that visible, but it's there alright. Should I live with it, or should I file a complain against the Mighty Bright Freakin Light or against the Kindle 2 from Amazon?

Have you read the user review of the light first? Seems it is not that bad...

If you are still not that satisfied, I think you should file a complaint to Amazon. They should provide 30 days money back guarantee.

What is something like the amazon kindle?

I want to get my sister something like that for xmas but it doesnt have a back light and she likes to read at night. Price isnt an issue cause my whole family is helping pay for it.
What are other products that have a backlight that are like the amazon kindle??

Actually, the screen of ebook readers are designed such that it really look like books. The screen with backlight, like computer, PDA or iPhone is actually not good for reading, as they have backlight and will do harm to our eyes when we read on them for long hours. So, just treat screen of ebook readers like books, and you'll need a book light when you read in dark. I've this light and I use it when I read with the Kindle on my bed:

Finally, in case you don't know, Amazon has recently put a price slash on the Kindle 2, and it is now selling $100 cheaper than the price I got my Kindle, and it adds in international wireless access and native PDF support... So take the chance if you want it.
