Is this internal hard drive and enclosure ok for my music?
This is my external hard drive setup
Internal HDD
I got a 1TB Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7,200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

The only thing I want to do is store all my music and videos on this hard drive and also use it to playback my media from a computer and/or a multimedia receiver. The hard drive may be on for a couple of hours during the day. Speaking about the enclosure, since its fanless, is it still a good enclosure for the purpose of this hard drive? I don't want this hard drive to cook up on me. Besides, it is advertised as an aluminum, heat dissipating enclosure that will ensure that the hard drive won't overheat. Please let me know what you guys think, thanks.
lol, i have the exact same setup and it works great. I can run games with it and everything. Doesn't get hot at all. I love my vantec case. It is a giant heatsink that keeps the hard drive really cool.
Comes with an estata desktop adapter too which is really nice (and all the cables you need)
and putting it together is really easy. two screws and one cable.
