Newest Ereaders Is the extended warranty worth it for the Kindle 2?
The standard warranty only lasts 1 year and it doesn't cover if it breaks. Is it worth spending another 50 or so bucks for the extended warranty when new and better ereaders come out every year anyway?
For me, I've purchased the warranty just for extra safety. It means I can use the device freely without the worry of breaking it within two years. For the extra $65, different people will see it differently. To me it is less than 20% of the device cost but it can protect my two years' of every day usage.
I'll suggest you to read some more opinions from actual buyers so you can decide yourself:
