Is there a way to make Sony Ebooks read from a B&N Nook ereader?


I have a Sony PSR-500 ereader with about 40+ books I have not yet read. My husband bought me a Nook ereader because they said "as long as they are epub or the other formats then the Nook will be able to veiw it". Well after many frustrating hours of trying to get them to transfer to the Nook I called the help desk and they said no. So I am assuming it is the DRM that is causing the issue. Does anyone know of a way around this? I purchased all of my books and I think I have the right to be able to read them of whatever device I please.

Also, does anyone know how to find the PID for the Sony Ereader?

Sorry, the Sony ebooks cannot be read on the Nook.
