Need Guitar Buying Help?

so ive looked into several guitar lately..

i have a epiphone es335
ibanez rg series
two squiers(but there garbage)
and a old vintage epiphone strat knockoff that needs fixing

but i want sumthing really good

within a few month i can gather up about 500-850 dollars

and my mom will fork in 250

ive looked at
the prs se custom
and a few epiphone les pauls and a gibson les paul studio

i play from a very wide variety of genres so i dont want like a dean or n e thing

any suggestions (with prices if you may)

Gibson - Sg
Peavey - Predator
Ibanez - Iceman
ESP LTD - Viper

idk really know what kind of music you play mostly i play rock and i don't any of these guitars so idk how they will hold up but their fun to jam on at the music shops

How do i get the best sound?

right now i just have a pair of 250RMS 10" Memphis PRs in a memphis box with a Kenwood 9102D at 500 rms with these subs. ive been messing with the nobs on the amp, but just cant get the right sound. the amp manual recommends 4guage wire, but im currently only running with 8. can someone help me out? is it just the wires or does anyone know how to tune thia amp or something?

Need a little bit more info to help you out with this. What is not sounding quite right to you? Mid frequencies coming thru the sub and hearing vocal sounds? that in itself is a crossover issue. Amplifier sounding like it bottoming or flat? That could definitely be linked to the fact of not having an adequate sized power wire ran and starving the amp of power? Hope this helps a bit..
