How does one reconcile with despising Scientology but liking certain movies staring scientologist?

Basically I would like to see Scientology come to an end and the criminals who run the cult go to prison. I do not want to support Scientology in anyway including indirectly. However I have to admit that two of my favorite movies are "Pulp Fiction" and "Minority report" both movies star these Scientologist. I hate to admit it, but I am a sci-fi fan, I even like ...gulp ...."Battlefield Earth" (not my favorite, but it was ok) So here's the problem, I enjoy these movies, but I despise what these people are doing and it sickens me. Am I betraying my convictions by watching these movies?

You don't have to like a person or their cult to appreciate their art... though you're in the extreme minority in your enjoyment of Battlefield Earth. It's been rated as "abysmal" by virtually every critic who's written a review.
