Portable Mobile reader. which should i get.?

i love reading, and i always want to do this whenever i'm on the train or a long journey. I'm looking forward to getting any mobile device which will help me read preferably PDF files and text should be legible. i was thinking of a PSP but i'm not sure if it reads PDFs, i think texts on i pods are rather too small . i'd appreciate contributions, its very important to me.
or is there any device specially for people like me?

Have you looked into the Kindle DX? I think it should be the best device that can suit your need. It can handle PDF files very well, and you can buy ebooks from the Kindle store which is much cheaper than actual books. Read the review here:

I've the Kindle 2 and I like it very much. I think the Kindle DX is even better though, and it can handle PDF files very well.

And don't use devices other than ebook reader for reading. Devices like iPod are not good for long hours of reading and will hurt your eyes. The Kindle uses e-ink, it is just like book and even I read for long hours I don't feel tired.
