Can a Sony Reader download Kindle books from Amazon?

I'm new to these and want to get the Sony Reader but want to know if will display the same products as the Kindle.

Sony Reader is completely different from the Amazon Kindle. I'll say you better choose the Kindle, it just has a price drop (you can always see the latest price on its homepage) and it is now cheaper than Sony Reader. There are much more selection for books on the Kindle too. I've elaborated more about this in another answer here:

The Walkman series of Sony Mobile phones has some amazing models like W760i, W910i and W960i. Thats because the tri-band phone has dimensions of 109 x 55 x 16 mm and incorporates a 2.6 inches TFT touchscreen with handwriting recognition technology.
