hi my name is nick? i am 17 years old and am a junior in high school. i am thinking about going into college, but the problem is that, i can only get into 15 colleges because of the fact that i am diagnosed with aspebergers/autism. And i probably shouldn't be asking this, but ummmmmmmmmm........... could i become a specific doctor? if so then wat type of doctor could i become? this is probabaly the stupidest thing i've ever asked, lol! but if not a doctor, then wat should i study to become if i can only get into 15 colleges and have aspebergers/autism? though i am in a catholic high school, and am planning to study for SATs' with the Princeton Pocket Prep Review Plan Machine thingy thing electronic, lol! (Oh and an SAT book btw, lol) but just because i have aspbergers doesnt mean i cant do anything now does it?

If you want to be a doctor than you should go for it. Your suitability for medical school could be a factor with Aspergers - it is going to depend on how severe or mild it is. My sister is in medical school and one of her classmates has aspergers - his social skills aren't great but he is very smart and hard working. He has decided to go into a field that has more limited interactions with patients but is still very important and fulfilling- he is thinking of anesthesia or radiology.

You will need to go to college and major in a science - you want to get very very high grades (majority of As).

But you have a while before you have to make the decision whether or not to go to medical school. Definately go to college - see how you like the science classes - is it something that you understand, enjoy, and then figure it out from there. If you are unsure about what you want to be - explore different fields.

Why The Kindle Electronic Book Reader Is Amazon's Best Selling Product

The Kindle reader has been the best selling item on Amazon for a number of reasons. When you consider all that this handy device has to offer, it is easy to understand why. There are hundreds of thousands of books available for instant download and it can be used in many places around the world. There are hundreds of periodicals to choose from and other resources, many of which are free. You will even be able to keep any PDF files on hand. A Kindle is ready to go, right out of the box.

One of the most interesting features is the high quality of text that is provided by the "E ink" technology that uses ink that is electronically displayed. It gives the sense of looking at a page from a book on the six-inch diagonal screen. You will find it does not seem you are reading from a computer screen. There are six different font sizes to choose from.

You will no longer have the extra hassle of having to find large-print books. All your books can be large print if that is what you want. The sixteen shades of gray used means that images will be sharp and clear. You can rotate them and enlarge them to full-screen when you want. With the additional ability to access text-based websites, you can keep up with sports scores, reference materials and maps. There is a dictionary built-in and opened instantly when needed.

The battery life will hold for up to two weeks if you turn off the wireless option. Battery life will be halved if the wireless function is left on. There is 2 GB of storage to work with. Since there is no back-lighting involved for the display, the text will work equally well whether in your home or on the beach. There is no glare from the screen.

The Kindle is designed to be synchronized with computers and hand-held devices. You'll be able to read on any of the devices and pick up where you left off. The power adapter and USB connector allows you to recharge your device from a wall socket or the USB port of a computer. The USB cable will also allow for easy file transfer of larger files that are downloaded to your computer.

With over a half-million books, nearly 2 million public domain writings, over 50,000 audio books, ebooks and periodicals available, you will build a very impressive personal library. There are free samples for almost all books. If you like it, one click and it can be purchased and downloaded. There is even a text-to-speech function with most books.

The Kindle is designed for long-term use. It only weighs 10 ounces, yet holds up to 1,500 books. If you ever come to a point you need more room, all of your purchases are stored for you and can be re-downloaded. It is very thin, about the thickness of a lead pencil, so it can be held comfortably in one hand. Buttons for turning the page are included on both sides of the screen.

A Kindle reader can play MP3 files so you choose background music to listen to as you read. You'll always have any bookmarks or clips and notes you have saved available, no matter where you might be, or which device you are using at the time. Keeping up with the best-sellers and news will now be something you can take for granted when you have a Kindle in your hand.
