Books/CDs/Learning Software for Learning Any of these Language?

I want to learn one or two of these languages; Japanese, German, or Irish. I really would like to learn Japanese because I love the culture and manga. I want to learn German and Irish because of people in my family. I have heard of Auralog which seems promising (tried their demo). Is it any good? Are their any books (no travel guides, memorization kind of things) I don't want it to be a repetition kind of thing. Any CD's with a learning book? Any recommendations? Thanx

The most popular foreign language curricula I know of are Rosetta Stone and Power Glide. You can Google search Rosetta Stone to get a free sample DVD or to buy it. For Power Glide, the website is for a kind of online version. If you want CD's and workbooks, find Power Glide on the Rainbow Resource and Christian Book Distributor websites.

It's a great software, just harder to use then it first seemed. And the user guide is limited, and not for the Translator.
