I am interested in buying a Sony PRS 700 ebook reader and was wondering if it is hard to read at night. I like to read in bed at night so this is very important. Please let me know. Thank you.
If you are going to pay the price for Sony Reader, I'll suggest you to choose the Kindle instead, and add the clip-on light accessory. Many people are giving good comment for using it to read at night:

Electronic Ebook Reader - the pros and cons
The world is in constant development and innovation is inevitable. We have recently changed the way books are read and purchased with electronic book reader. For those who are new to the subject, there are different types and brands of electronic ebook reader. The dominant feature of the Amazon Kindle. Some prefer the Sony PRS-505, but the Kindle has brought into the market and grow further.
Professionals Kindle
* Wireless 3G wireless capabilities allow you to download books directly to the camera at any place and at any time without fees or contracts.
* Speedy their downloads fast downloads, you can download an entire book in less than 60 seconds without a PC.
* Long-Life Battery allows you many days without charge.
* README file has a feature that allows all books, magazines, PDF, Web page or blog, read aloud the Kindle less disabled by the owner of rights to the book.
The disadvantages of the electronic Kindle eBook Reader
* Fragile-design Although elegant design used with care when they drop their ad can be ruined.
* Contrast was bad, it complaints about the poor contrast of the screen and has been the inability to adjust the contrast. There are also complaints from its poor image display that is associated with low contrast.
* Poor Battery Life Indicator-Although the Kindle eBook reader electronics can last for days without a charge, you can barely see the battery indicator, which is difficult to know when it does need to be recharged.
Overall, I am insisting that the Kindle eBook Reader is a great product. If you consider how much space and money for the purchase of eBooks advantages outweigh the disadvantages saved. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an eBook reader mail
