Sony Ereader Compatible Ebooks
Are Kindle ebooks compatible with my Sony ereader?
If I buy an ebook from amazon will I be able to read it on my Sony ereader?
No. Kindle uses a proprietary format that can only be read by the Kindle or Kindle software (available for PC, Mac OS X, Android, and iOS). You need to make sure any ebook for your Sony reader is either an ePub or PDF (available everywhere else except on Amazon).
