sony ereader serial number help please!?

i just bought a song PRS-350 ereader yesterday and i was too excited that i didnt realise what i was doing while unpacking it. anyway, just tried to register it so that i can put books onto it and it says i cant do anything without my serial number which i threw away. theres a couple of numbers on the back of the box but i have no idea if they are the serial number or not. does anyone know how i can get my serial number? can i phone up anyone? is there anywhere the serial number might be?
yes i know the serial number is on the back of the device, but i acciently threw that away which is why im asking if i can find it anywhere else?

You peeled the sticker off the back of your Reader accidentally? But you didn't throw the box away? I'm sorry, but you might have screwed yourself here. Look for a fifteen digit number with a bar code. That's all I can think of. Call Sony and tell them what you did. I don't remember needing a serial number to register my reader. I thought I just plugged it into my usb and authorized it to my account. Those numbers are so tiny, most people my age couldn't even read them.
